Cher is very special to me for more reasons than I can
say. I have always wanted a flashy brindle girl. I was
fortunate to not only have to wait too long but also was
offered the chance of acquiring a “Dash Riprock”
daughter thanks to collaboration of three wonderful
women : Cher’s breeder and the owner of her beautiful
dam, Sharon Davis (Oakridge Boxers); the breeder and
co-owner of Cher’s dam, Donna Schafer (DC Boxers) and
the breeder owner of Cher’s sire, Josie O’Reilly (Summer
Boxers)! Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity
to meet Dash but I know that Josie felt he was a gift
and her once in a lifetime dog. From what I have been
told by many people, about Dash, is that not only was he
full of fire and a true stallion of a dog but that he
also accomplished so much and my impression is that he
touched so many in his short time here. It is through
Josie and because of her special dog that I have Cher
and my first Boxer, Dash’s grand daughter,
Addey
…all of this makes Cher just that much more special to
me! I feel truly LUCKY to own and share my life with a
“Dash Riprock” daughter!
Cher has a great personality
and is very outgoing! The first time I met Cher was at
the 2010 American Boxer Club National Specialty (ABC) at
just 3 months of age. I barely had time to get the tape
off of her ears and it was our turn next in the ring at
the annual ABC Fun Match. Well… with this amateur
handler on the end of her lead Cher gave me a taste of
what a show dog is truly made of and together we
placed second in a class of five 3-6 month brindle
puppy girls! Cher is always making me laugh and smile
with her antics and has been a great addition to my fur
kid family. I can’t wait to see what the future holds
for us…her name “Cher” seems very fitting…”The Beat Goes
On”…
Thank you again Sharon for
entrusting me with this very special girl, Cher!
